About the Item

Rustic carnival "Wheel of Fortune" circa 1940s, constructed of various solid woods both solid and plywood, the wheel is painted in weathered hues of red and yellow with images of dominos, patined nails are used as the pegs on the wheel. At the center is a very high quality bearing the allows the wheel to turn smoothly for a very long time. The sound of the wheel turning is pleasing and evokes a time forgotten to history. A very charming piece of Americana design.
