This Bold and colorful necklace is worn among the Masai people of Kenya during weddings and special festivals. Colorful beadwork, each color bead represents a different aspect of the Maasai culture: Bravery, (red), Energy (blue), Purity (white), Nourishment (green), Warmth & Generosity (orange), Cycle of Life (yellow ), and Black represents the color of the people and daily struggles - their unity and harmony. Handmade Artifact wall decor Maasai Tribal colorful jewelry African necklace, this style of necklace was traditionally worn as a wedding necklace by the Masai community of Kenya. It is simply a work of Art, made from the finest high quality Masai beads, and is hand made from top to bottom, light weight and has beaded strands with cowrie shells on each strand. One of the shell is missing. Handmade wall decor artifact and vintage a very dramatic piece, this would look nice as a decorative wall piece of African Folk Art.
