"Monetary Gods" Voting Machine with Tissue Issue Scroll by Edward Nagrodzki

$1,500

About

Edward Nagrodzki was an inventor, self-taught artist and political activist during the time of Nixon and Gov. Rockefeller. This is an ironic sculptural assemblage inspired by Nagrodzki's alienation from the political process and the corruption and unfairness of the system. He demonstrated both against Nelson Rockefeller and the Viet Nam War. The voting machine allows for voting on two rolls of toilet paper, hence "Tissue Issue Scroll".
