About the Item

A great folky painted chest dated 1867 on the front. This pine six board blanket box with a double interior till, hinged lid and original paint decoration. It is inscribed in decoration ‘1867’ and initialed on top ‘JHP’ and on the reverse. Presented on turned feet and meauring 23”H x 38”W x 20”D.
