About the Item

Perhaps the dropped hand is the most obvious of the Bears 'tells'. But just about every aspect of our painting is Bears, from the landscape background to the positioning of the subject. The boy could very well be the son of the couple from the Peter Tillou Paintings. In a later Newcomb-Macklin frame.
