1950s Bent Karlby Black Painted Metal & Brass Pendant Lamp for Lyfa. Executed in architecturally cut and elegantly shaped black painted metal shades with brass hardware, Denmark, circa 1950s. A quintessentially Danish Modern pendant by a master Swedish designer whose exquisitely crafted pieces are increasingly sought after by collectors worldwide.
Price is per item. 3 lamps available.
Each lamp accommodates 1x 60w equivalent standard US medium base (e26) LED bulb (LED only). Professionally modified for US electrical with new black cloth cord and custom period-style ceiling canopy added for mounting over US j-box. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Please note that only one representative example appears in the photos. Some variation between lamps, but all lamps in comparably good condition and present well as a set. More images available upon request.
