About the Item
An absolutely stunning 1950s Italian brass and glass chandelier in the style of Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte. The chandelier is composed of 15 clear glass bevelled petals - 5 around the upper section and 10 around the lower which are all supported by brass rods in a radial formation on a black lacquered metal frame which is suspended from a single black rod and matching ceiling cup. The glass petals are held onto the frame with two brass ball screws which push through holes in each petal. There is a deep golden aged patina to the brass rods which have been cleaned and polished.
The light has been rewired and is in full working order. In very good vintage condition with some small scratches to the black lacquer in places. One glass petal has been broken in the past but has been repaired seamlessly as shown in the images. An absolutely stunning light which would add that wow factor to most rooms of the home.
The leaves all detach from the frame for ease of transport and cleaning.
