About the Item

Italian chandelier from the 1950s, attributed to Stilnovo, featuring a geometric and structural design. The frame is composed of black enamelled steel elements combined with solid brass connectors and detailing, supporting six rectangular opaline glass shades. Each shade is mounted on a black enamelled wooden holder, connected through brass joints to the main hexagonal frame. The composition balances linear metal rods and angled connectors, creating an architectural suspended structure. The opaline glass diffusers provide an even, soft light. Sometimes one encounters a work of craftsmanship and design that stands apart, as in this distinctive example. The chandelier retains its original tested wiring, in working condition, and is suitable for use both in Europe and the United States. It accommodates six standard E14 bulbs.
