About the Item
1970s German Glashütte Limburg opaline white glass pendant hanging ceiling light. The bell-shaped shade is fixed to a polished chrome frame which is suspended horizontally in place by three chrome chains to a chrome circular bracket. The height can be adjusted by lengthening or shortening the chains. There is a "Limburg" manufacturer's label inside the top of the lightbulb holder.
The opaline glass shade provides a diffused light from the four lightbulbs inside which are fitted into a polished chrome feature lightbulb holder which resembles a rocket launcher when viewed from beneath.
A classic light perfect for most rooms of the home perhaps in a country kitchen or hallway.
In very good vintage condition. Almost as good as new.
