19th Century Swedish Louis XVI Bag & Tent Gilt Bronze Crystal Glass Chandelier

About the Item

An elegant early 19th century Louis XVI style gilt-bronze facetted crystal glass chandelier of bag & tent shape, the pierced and crown-shaped top hung with chains of crystal drops, the chains fork off aided by an volute-shaped piece, with the central crown shaped ring issuing four non-electrified candle arms, the whole hung with facetted drops, wired for electricity within the central reservoir.
