About the Item
This magnificent pair of midcentury silver "Pistillo" table lamps, ceiling or wall lights is a real "new old stock" . Produced in 1970's-2000's, they never leaved their original storage carton box and nobody has ever used them....This amazing lightings were designed in 1969 by Studio Tetrarch and produced by Valenti Italia in Italy. Its name"Pistillo" refers to the Italian word for pistil, and its design is clearly inspired by the central part of a flower.They produce a very lively and natural touch to all styles of interiors and they have a genuine presence in the room.
So when the light is switched off, this chandelier is all silver amazing. And when light is switched on, it draws sunburst all around and is really spectacular .
As you can see on photos, it is absolutely magic!
Please note that they are completely silver color, there is no gold at all, even if they can seem a little gold on photos, they are not....
Wired for U.S. and Europe, there is one E27 bulb by piece.

An outstanding set of two sputnik chandeliers designed by Paolo Venini, manufactured by VeArt in Italy, circa 1960.
These eye-catching lamps have a high quality chrome metal base with many arms holding flower shapes made from high quality Murano glass. The lamps are crafted with an excellent eye for detail. When lit, the lamps emit a wonderful warm light that is nicely diffused by the glass. This rare set would make a beautiful eyecatcher in any Mid-Century Modern interior.
In good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
Paolo Venini (1895–1959) emerged as one of the leading figures in the production of Murano glass and an important contributor to twentieth-century design.
