About the Item
Striking Murano glass chandelier by Alberto Donà, designed in the 1960's and composed of numerous hand-blown "Poliedri" elements in a light smoky hue. These geometric glass forms create a textured, sculptural presence with a soft diffusion of light. Supported by a chrome structure, the chandelier is fitted with six lights, offering both ambient glow and visual elegance.
An iconic example of Italian mid-century design and Venetian glass artistry, this piece embodies sophistication and craftsmanship, ideal for both modern and classic interiors.

Alberto Donà
Alberto Donà, born in Italy in 1944, began working in the glass field at the age of 13 and became known for his ability with colors and creativity in generating unique combinations, hence his valued collaborations with important companies such as Venini, Saporiti that have relied on Donà for glass accessories. In October 2001, he had a one-man show at the Vassel Art Gallery in London. He was selected to furnish the lighting for the Hiroshima Memorial Museum.
