Antique Continental European Alabaster Light Fixture, Early 20th Century

About the Item

Ten-sided carved and fluted alabaster bowl with five reeded arms surmounted by acanthus leaf carved candleholders. Carved alabaster bowl hanging from original braided cloth hanger, with original alabaster and bronze ceiling plate. The photos do not convey the detail, quality, and translucency of this fixture. The height can be adjusted. The diameter of the bowl itself is 16 inches. The diameter below includes the arms. Recently re-wired. European, early 20th century.
