Antique GECoRay Wall Light- H An early silver backed glass wall light by British manufacturer ‘GEC’ entitled the ‘GECoRAY’.The copper and brass metal wall fitting has been left in its original condition with years of patina. The glass shade left in untouched original condition, has a grey painted exterior finish and the interior is mirrored finish. These lights were scientifically designed for the illumination of shop windows after hours and formed part of a range of reflectors of superior quality. The light shade can be adjusted upwards or downwards using the copper wall fitting. This light could equally be used as a ceiling light as a wall light. Dimensions: Height: 30cm Shade diameter: 25cm Distance from wall:30 cm Origin: Church, Hampshire Circa: 1920s Workshop Report: The workshop team inspect all products and perform any necessary repairs to ensure many more years of future use, with lighting we deep clean the shades and professionally remove all existing electrical components and fit new CE certified electrical fittings. This light is supplied with new period style brown twisted 3 core fabric flex and CE certified E27 screw lampholder. The light can take up to 100W Equivalent LED bulb. We can also supply wired for US standards. The overall condition is good, some mottling imperfections in places to the grey glass shade finish and foxing to the inside mirror finish, the light retains its original decal.
