About the Item
Antique wheel hubs from two different carts, converted into magnificent robust country style ceiling lamps.
Their origin will be Germany, mid 19th century.
Chunky, heavy and unique, the one hub comes with mint & rust colour, the other one in a rusty red.
The wheel hubs (in German called ''Radnabe'') are made from sturdy wood and kept in shape to last by heavy iron bands.
The pendant chains are visibly younger, from about the 1980s.
The light fittings are new, with EU 27 screws.
Warm light emanating to the sides and downwards.
Wiring universal, incl. the US, 110-240v.
