Exquisite French Art Deco white alabaster pendant with carved rose motif and rope suspension, 18.5” Diameter.
A masterfully crafted French Art Deco alabaster pendant light dating from the golden heyday of 1920s-1930s design. The bowl-shaped shade is hewn from richly veined alabaster, its perimeter beautifully adorned with a hand-carved rose garland .. evoking both softness and sculptural precision. The pendant hangs gracefully from three twisted natural fiber ropes, lending the piece an organic, timeless appeal.
When illuminated, the alabaster emits a warm, ethereal glow, highlighting the subtle veining and the delicate floral carving. A rare and poetic example of Art Deco lighting, ideal for interiors seeking a touch of quiet opulence.
A statement piece for refined interiors: over a dining table, in an entryway, or floating above a romantic bedroom setting. Elegant and understated with a strong sculptural presence.
Mind you, this pendant is wired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and our US clients will be able to use three regular American screwthread bulb of up to 100 watts each, easily. This light will also take LED bulbs. Thanks to the hook inside the height adjustable & brass canopy, safely mounting this perfect pendant tight to your ceiling (and over your junction box) will take no more than a few minutes either.
