Art Déco Chandelier, EZAN Style, France - Chrome, Wood - 1930
About the Item
French ceiling chandelier from the 1930s - original Art Deco. The solid, chrome-plated chandelier has a lining made of walnut wood in the area of the pendulum rod and a lining with a chrome-plated tube in the middle and in the upper area. The elegantly curved arms are also chrome-plated. The glass bowls are made of heavy glass (660 g/piece), frosted on the outside and smooth on the inside and decoratively decorated at the ends. The bowls do not have a company logo; the design and quality of the workmanship make the chandelier reminiscent of the chandeliers from Ezanville (EZAN). What is striking is the heavy middle section made of wood with the surrounding chrome band and the hemispherical ends. The chandelier is in good condition, the chrome parts only show slight signs of aging, the cables appear to be newer and the clamps for connecting the cables have been replaced. The chandelier has B22 bayonet sockets as usual in France, 5 matching LED bulbs are included*. Rare collector's item from the Art Deco era.
