About the Item

Pendant light manufactured in France circa 1940s. No signature is present but the style of both the glass and metal work point to Ezan and it is comparable to the works of Petitot,Sabino, Rene Lalique and many other Art Deco glass manufacturers. The body consists of 3 copper cones and the large opalescent glass cup at the bottom. this bottom presents a small fisure that is shown in the last photos, it is very hard to see and does not compromise the integrity of the glass at all. All the copper cones present some wear and patina, the larger cone shows a gold and silver finish that must have covered it in its totality but it has been rubbed off at some point, the effect of the patina shows a lot of character and we wanted to give the option to keep it as original as possible to the buyer or the option to have all the pieces polished to a bright copper finish if so desired as well. It takes 2 bayonet bulbs. This chandelier can either hang from a chain or flush to the ceiling as the last copper cone can be used for this option.
