About the Item
An exceptional Art Nouveau chandelier, dating to circa 1905, the bronze rope twist chandelier arms are adorned with smaller twists of rope and leaf decorative flourishes. The three branches of the chandelier each bears a cut glass shade in the form of a rose, that surrounds the lamp fitting.
To the centre is a large bronze torchiere, with a cut glass flame shade which also houses a lamp holder. One of the flower shades has a very small chip, but it is impossible to see without prompting.
This is a truly beautiful piece of Art Nouveau lighting.
Measures: Height 94cm x Width 63cm.
Glass flame shade is 18cm tall
Each glass rose is 11cm tall x 5.5cm wide
The ceiling rose is 12cm wide.
The light is wired and in full working order, but as with all our lighting we would always suggest it is fitted and tested in situation by a qualified electrician.
