LARGE COPPER THREE-BRANCH CHANDELIER WITH ARTISAN VASELINE GLASS SHADES BY GEC
This large and beautifully presented three-arm copper chandelier, crafted by GEC (The General Electric Company Limited), showcases the elegance of Art Nouveau design. Manufactured in England circa 1920, this light fitting boasts interesting cast finials and a sophisticated aesthetic.
The beautifully designed light features the hallmark quality and design flair often found in GEC pieces.
The chandelier is complemented by later vaseline glass shades crafted in the UK by artisan glass blowers to the highest standards. These shades are a beautiful representation of original Stourbridge-style shades, featuring a classic bell shape with wide flared bottoms and a subtle striped pattern.
