In both 1954 and 1955, Arteluce was awarded the ADI Compasso d'Oro. In the 1950s and 1960s, Arteluce was an important forum for many of the leading Italian designers including Sergio Asti, F. Several of Sarfatti's original designs are housed permanently in museums like MoMA in New York. In 2012, the first retrospective exhibition of Sarfatti's work took place at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
