About the Item

Superb mid-century modern design suspension light in terracotta and white snow glazing. Attributed to Arlus, Art Deco style work from the 1950s in France. This suspensions is attributed to Arlus because the design similarities are almost exact to the plaster models and the item is of the same period. Beyond the design similarities, this item is one of the only examples of this type of suspension in glazed earthenware of the midcentury period making it exceedingly rare. Very good condition.
