A modern black laser cut steel Chandelier by South African lighting atelier Willowlamp,
The Flower of Life chandelier draws its form from sacred geometry, expressed here through an intricate mandala motif laser-cut into blackened steel. Measuring 100 cm in diameter and 245 cm in overall drop, it is ideally suited for double-height ceilings, stairwells, or any interior requiring a large statement chandelier.
Encircling the steel form is a series of fine black ball chains, each strand meticulously cut to follow and accentuate the mandala’s contours. The scalloped silhouette gives the piece a sense of lightness, while the vertical curtain of chain offers a striking, textural descent. Nineteen G9 LED lamps are discreetly housed within the core, providing a warm, ambient glow that highlights the depth and intricacy of the design.
This modern black steel chandelier embodies both artistic craftsmanship and architectural presence. It reflects Willowlamp’s signature fusion of industrial materials with symbolic, almost meditative patterning—a piece as much about atmosphere as illumination.
