About the Item
A Space Age Modern large 1970s pendant light by Bent Norsted for Lyskær Belysning with a downward trumpet shape design in brushed aluminum with a white inside. Takes a single bulb, medium base, often called Edison base (100 max. wattage). We suggest an LED bulb.
Bent Norsted (1927- year unknown) was a well regarded Danish designer and artist who designed lighting for Danish firm Lyskær Belysning as well as for Fog & Morup and Kastrup Holmegaard Glassworks. Lyskær Belysning was founded in 1969 and continued lighting production through 1991.
Condition: Very Good condition. Rewired. Minor wear consistent with age and use but no damage.
