About the Item

Antique bois dore, carved gilt wood chandelier from France, circa 1890. Empire in the Neoclassical style. Masterfully hand-carved with a torch flame finial at the top and an acorn finial at the base. Six candelabra sockets, newly wired in the USA with all UL listed parts. Comes with chain and canopy. Photographed with gold candle sleeves but have since been switched to ivory. Please specify candle sleeve preference. The patina is beautiful and there are a few cracks in bottom of solid wood that are indicative of age. This light is just "correct" for its age.
