About the Item

Amazing and impressive alabaster chandelier. Over the years we have sold a number of beautiful and unique alabaster light fixtures, but we had never seen one with these qualities and in this incredibly good condition. For it to have found its way to our gallery more than made our day, because it is in excellent condition as well and we don't expect to ever find another one. This is one of the largest, single shade alabaster light fixtures that we ever had the pleasure of offering and we are certain one of our interior designer clients will soon find the perfect room / interior for it. In creating this glorious alabaster fixture they picked the perfect alabaster rock, because this shade comes with some evenly divided black veins in the centre and lots of more translucent veins and patches all around. These unique veins and other patterns could only have been made by Mother Nature herself and combined with the stunningly hand carved floral patterns around the, equally perfect condition, top edge they make this chandelier look extra special, both with the light switched on and off. Thankfully this wonderfully designed and truly beautiful light fixture has been very well looked after by its former owners and thanks to its timeless and 'calm' design this grand fixture will look great in all kinds of interiors. Because of the beige-amberish tone of the surface of this shade we believe it would look particularly beautiful in a space where there are, cognac colored, leather seats and sofas or in a more organic looking interior with some bamboo colors and alike. Mind you, this one of a kind pendant has been professionally rewired to the highest standard for safe & immediate usage in the USA as well and you will be able to use a regular American bulb of up to 120 watts, easily. For our photos we used a 100 watt bulb. Thanks to the height adjustable and matching design brass canopy, mounting this unique pendant tight to your ceiling (and over your junction box) will take no more than a few minutes either.
