About the Item

Flavio Poli was one of the greatest masters for glassmaking in Murano between the 1930s and 1960s. Murano glass works are rare and delicate objects: it is almost impossible to make them identical years apart. This makes it extremely interesting when one finds two or more chandeliers created for the same purpose and thus having a homogeneity of workmanship that is difficult to replicate. These two ogival chandeliers created in bubble-blown Murano glass are part of a collection of glass elements created by the Seguso glass company and originally from a Hotel in Piedmont.
