French 19th century Napoleon III Period Ormolu and Baccarat Crystal chandelier

About the Item

A sensational and large scale French 19th century Napoleon III Period Ormolu and Baccarat Crystal chandelier. This stunning twenty four light chandelier is centered at the bottom by an elegant solid Baccarat Crystal ball suspended from a garland of faceted Crystal beads. Above is the first level of eighteen scrolled Ormolu arms decorated with foliate accents leading to the candle cups in the form of a blossoming lily. The arms are adorned with buds and leaves amidst kite shaped Baccarat Crystals in various sizes. The central fut is encased in clear Baccarat Crystal reserves and leads to an upper level of six scrolled foliate arms. The upper arms are decorated in the same manner and surround an inverted spray of Baccarat Crystals and blossoming lilies. *Shades, Canopies and Chain shown for display purposes, sold separately.
