About the Item
French Art Deco Brass Chandelier Pendant with Pâte de Verre Glass by Degué, from circa the 1930s.
This impressive French Art Deco chandelier features an ornate brass frame in the shape of a nest, on the sides depicting birds and a nest with baby birds, adorned with birch leaves and birch catkins. An interior light brightens the beautiful dark yellow, violet, and blue “Pâte de Verre” glass bowl shade signed Degué, of the “Verrerie D'Art Degué” manufacture.
Dimensions: height: 85 cm / 33.46 in; diameter: 43 cm / 16.92 in.
One new socket for E27 (E26) size light bulb.
In good condition with slight signs of use and aging.
The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest it is tested and fitted by a qualified electrician.
