About the Item

This striking 1930s French Art Deco chandelier is a fine example of the period’s intricate craftsmanship, merging opulent design with functional elegance. The chandelier features a central bowl and six fan-like press molded glass panels, each meticulously adorned with a geometric floral motif typical of Art Deco styling. The frosted glass is delicately textured with raised circular and linear patterns, giving the chandelier a soft, diffused glow when illuminated. Factories of pressed molded glass do not exist anymore, making this chandelier one of kind and rare to find. The wrought iron frame is equally stunning, composed of hand-forged elements that elegantly cradle the glass panels. The ironwork showcases a vine and leaf motif, with curled tendrils and detailed leaves adding a natural, organic contrast to the geometric glass. The dark finish of the iron perfectly complements the cool, frosted glass, creating a timeless aesthetic. Suspended from the iron rods connected to a decorative ceiling cap, the chandelier hangs gracefully, making it a perfect statement piece for any room. Its harmonious blend of floral motifs, sleek lines, and naturalistic iron detailing embodies the essence of Art Deco period. It can be wired for American (110V) or European (220V) use. The light bulbs are not included. This beautiful ceiling lighting fixture will definitely be a head turning center piece of any room you chose to install it into.
