French Art Deco Wrought Iron Pandent Chandelier
About the Item
This exceptional and important French Art Deco square shape chandelier. Hand-forged wrought iron in different textures with fine intricate leaves and flower motifs. Original flat alabaster rectangle panel shades with four matching alabaster tulips facing upwards. Alabaster shades can be a substitute for frosted glass at no additional charge. The fixture was rewired to U.S. standards which accommodate eight household bulbs (total of 1200 watts max) Custom drop (extend or shorten from original dimension) and re-plating in different finishes upon request at no additional cost. Complimentary drop-off to the tri-state area. Incredible craftsmanship in the hand made wrought iron frame showing the favorite design of Edgar brandt: Gingko leaves and berries.
The frame has been singed by Brandt ''E. Brandt''.
The glass shade was produced with the ''Pate de verre'' technique by Daum Nancy. Daum chose a warm red orange shade that combines perfectly with the wrought iron creating a gorgeous scenery when lit. The glass is signed with ''Daum + Nancy'' there is a small flea bite chip from the shade but it is barely noticeable in the frame of the chandelier. This chandelier is a gorgeous combination of masterful craftsmanship and art deco design. A real treasure for generations to come.
The chandelier has been rewired and will make a stunning addition to any Hallway or room.
