French Eight-Light Crystal Chandelier with Iron Armature from the 19th Century

About the Item

A French crystal eight-light chandelier from the 19th century, with iron armature. Born in France during the politically dynamic 19th century, this chandelier features a delicate iron scrolling armature, adorned with faceted crystals, pendeloques and petite rosettes. Eight scrolling arms each support a crystal bobèche and a candle sleeve, while the lower section is accented with an abundance of pendeloques that seem to be dancing around the finial. Rewired for the US and ready to be hung, this French 19th century eight-light chandelier will bring a graceful presence to any dining room, living room or foyer.
