About the Item
A beautiful Neoclassical style white milk glass pendant ceiling light fixture with an ornate bronze frame. France, 1920s.
This adorable white milk glass (the inner side of the glass is glossy, outside - matted) lampshade - the bowl is held by a bronze rim and is suspended by three ropes (wires) and a rich, with leaf decor decorated, bronze ceiling canopy.
The light shining through the white glass is warm and atmospheric and with bronze parts, it emanates a beautiful ambiance.
Three new sockets for E14 size light bulbs.
Dimensions: height: 50 cm / 19.68 in; diameter: 39 cm / 15.35 in.
In good condition with some signs of use and aging, slight patina on the bronze.
The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest it is tested and fitted by a qualified electrician.
