Rattan pendant lamp with Chinoiserie Accents. France, 1960s
Eye-catching handcrafted rattan cylinder shaped ceiling suspension lamp.
This large lantern has a design featuring a cylindrical rattan structure with Chinoiserie inspired rattan cane decorations adorning the pendant's body.
It hangs from a chain with rattan sticks alternating with rattan links, with a brass canopy on top. The length of the chain can be shortened to adjust it to the desired height.
It has a beautiful design combining the Mediterranean french riviera taste and oriental accents. It will be a nice addition hanging over a kitchen's table, dining area or bedroom at a beach or countryside house decoration.
Newly wired.
