Groove Series Orb Pendant in Blue, Modern Customizable Handmade Lighting
About the Item
These Groove Series pendants are hanging lights featuring an embedded groove that offers a precise, machine-made quality to offset these otherwise wholly handmade creations. Whether showcased individually, as an aligned set or an organic cluster, these designs create a lustrous array of luminance appropriate for any locale. In addition to the variety of colors (transparent blue, amber, grey and green), one can also opt for the bubbled finish as opposed to the traditional clear glass finish for an additional $100.00. Each light comes furnished with a UL-wired Edison based socket and includes a ceiling canopy hardware kit to install into standard 110v ceiling junction box. Wiring for location to code different than UL/110v will require custom net pricing.

FurthurDesign is a line of modern glass objects and lighting handmade by William Couig in Brooklyn, NY. The work has an aesthetic steeped in the 70's vision of future that William was raised on in film and popular culture. Created using traditional Venetian techniques, the FurthurDesign line utilizes the natural attributes and tendencies of glass to create logical design concepts. While each grouping has machine-made qualities, they have distinctly hand blown features and an organic appeal.
