Hex Chrome Crystal Kinkeldey Pendant Light, 1970
About the Item
This modernist design chrome chandelier was designed by the Kinkeldey design team during the 1970s and manufactured in Germany. A very elegant Kinkeldey chandelier, it is comfortable with all decor periods. The crystals are meticulously cut in such a way that radiate the light of the bulbs in different directions. This chandelier is executed to a very high standard.
Kinkeldey is German manufacturer of high-end lighting fixtures. The company attracted international attention when they won the prestigious IF Design Award in 1969 with a chandelier fitted with prism cut crystals. Though these lamps show the same quality as fixtures of companies like Bakalowits, Lobmeyer and Palwa, the Kinkeldey models tend to be more modern in their design approach.

Cleaned and well-wired, in full working order and ready to use. The brass frame is in very good condition. The wall lights can be disassembled and the glass individually wrapped for easy transport. The fixture requires 4 E14 standard bulbs of 60W. Also LED compatible.
