Highly Important Extremely Rare, English William IV Antique Chandelier

About the Item

A highly important twelve-light cut-glass ormolu-mounted William IV chandelier the stem consisting of three feather cut cups supporting ormolu stems terminating with flower rosettes the main frame supporting twelve unusual bulls eye candle arms terminating with drop hung feather cut drip pans and two-piece candle nozzles. The main ring also supporting flower rosettes and turn over feather cut collars centred by six sided spires this ring supporting four ormolu chains mounted with prismatic terminating with ormolu s hooks surmounted by a feather cut dish and drop hung ring; this ring also mounted with flower rosettes and feather cut collars centred by six sided spires the chandelier terminating with a feather cut stem piece. The main drop hung ring surmounted by a ornate cut-glass dish with lower drop hung canopy terminating with a lapidary cut finial.
