About the Item

A rare hand-blown cased white opaline glass pendant light designed by Per Lütken and manufactured by Holmegaard in Denmark during the late 1970s or early 80s. It is called Sunset and is characterized by its mushroom shape and reflective bottom edge in clear glass. This version with its solid teak top is reminiscent in style to. similar design by Svend Aage Holm Søresen and Lisa Pape Johansson. Measurements: Diameter: 25 cm, Height: 27 cm.

Large gourd shaped hanging light composed of fluted or reeded matte opaline glass with brass mount and tube. Manufactured and designed in Scandinavia most likely by either Fog & Mørup or Luxus. It remains in a nice vintage condition with only one remark: a tiny (pepper-corn size) chip to the inside on the bottom rim. A beautiful piece suited for Hallway, corridor, dining or bedroom lighting.
