Italian 18th Century Gilt Metal, Gilt Wood And Patinated Wood Sixteen Light Chan

About the Item

A most unique and extremely decorative Italian 18th century gilt metal, gilt wood and patinated wood sixteen light chandelier. The chandelier is centered by a bottom gilt metal band with cut crystal pendants. Leading up finely carved giltwood and patinated wood garlands is a larger central gilt metal band from which eight delicately scrolled arms and eight charming arms adorned with large leaves extend. Each arm is decorated with cut crystal swaging garlands and displays wood and gilt metal candle cups. Connecting the most impressive two tone, off white and green, foliate top crown are carved giltwood and cut crystal garlands.
