About the Item
A large scale and elegantly detailed Italian 19th century Baroque st. Faux Painted marble, Giltwood, and Wrought Iron chandelier. This stately sixteen arm sixteen light chandelier is centered by a circular Giltwood and faux painted marble bottom dome separated into eight panels displaying wonderful attention to detail. Above are the eight pairs of Giltwood and Iron arms, showcasing stunning acanthus leaves draped onto the arms and leading to topie shaped Giltwood candle cups. Eight gilt and patinated iron chains support the dome below and lead up to the Gilt Iron top crown. The wonderful Gilt Iron top crown is designed with foliate decorations and a patterned band around the base.
