Italian 19th Century Louis XVI St. Gilt Metal And Crystal Chandelier

About the Item

A beautiful and unique Italian 19th century Louis XVI st. gilt metal and crystal chandelier. The six arm chandelier is centered by a fine bottom facetted crystal ball below a stunning array of teardrop shaped cut crystal pendants and exceptional swaging beaded crystal garlands. The lightly curved arms branch out to lovely rosettes and beautiful floral crystal bobeches and center an exquisite extremely decorative reeded crystal reserve and striking dagger surrounded by charming wonderfully executed sprays with stars and crystal pendants. Delicate chains lead upwards connecting to one another at beautiful rosettes with additional exquisite drop and kite shaped crystal pendants and lovely swaging beaded garlands all below the crown shaped top with fine floral sprays.
