Italian 19th Century Metal and Porcelain Eight-Light Chandelier

About the Item

A whimsical and most charming Italian 19th-century giltwood, gilt metal and saxe porcelain eight light chandelier. The chandelier is centered by a fine giltwood ball finial below a foliate and reeded design. Beautiful scrolled movements lead up the giltwood central fut. Each most uniquely scrolled arm displays most decorative foliate patinated metal leaves and wonderfully executed Saxe porcelain flowers and giltwood bobeches. All original gilt and patina.
