About the Item
A beautiful and extremely decorative Italian 19th century Venetian st. giltwood and crystal chandelier. The eight arm chandelier is centered by lovely and most unique bottom foliate finial with prism cut crystal pendants and fine reeded designs. Each of the elegantly curved arms display wonderfully executed foliate designs leading to reeded floral bobeches adorned with additional prism cut crystal pendants. Each arm is separated by smaller arms with exceptional iron sprays with charming richly carved blooming flowers also decorated with crystal pendants. The luxuriantly scrolled cage also displays remarkable most decorative floral sprays with flowers and crystal pendants centering the tapered floral central fut and leading to the foliate top crown.
