Italian Early 19th Century Louis XVI St. Gilt Metal And Rock Crystal Chandelier

About the Item

An elegant and high quality Italian early 19th century Louis XVI st. Gilt Metal and Rock Crystal chandelier. The six arm six light chandelier displays 'C' scrolled arms draped with large water drop shaped Rock Crystals below Rock Crystal rosettes. At the center is the impressive solid Rock Crystal fut of various shapes. The 'C' scrolled arms lead to Greek key designs below a ball and wave like saucer holding the candle. The central fut has a mid and upper section of 'S' scrolled Gilt Metal arms which hold additional Rock Crystals with water drop and kite shapes. The top is beautifully finished with a small crown spray. Chain Length: 9"
