About the Item

A beautiful Italian early 19th century Mecca, iron, crystal, and cut glass chandelier. The eight arm chandelier is centered by a lovely foliate finial centered by charming iron supports adorned with fine crystal pendants. At the center is a richly carved reserve with charming finely detailed foliate movements from where the elegantly scrolled iron arms branch out. Each arm displays mottled rosettes and is adorning in a striking array of swaging crystal garlands. The impressive richly carved Mecca central fut displays beautiful foliate carvings and charming iron sprays also repeated at the top crown and adorned with additional most decorative swaging crystal garlands and exceptional red, green and amber colored cut glass. All original Mecca and patina throughout.
