Italian Early 19th Century Tuscan Giltwood, Gilt Metal and Crystal Chandelier
About the Item
A stunning Italian early 19th century Tuscan giltwood, gilt metal and crystal twelve arm chandelier. The chandelier is centered by a beautiful bottom foliate finial with an elegant tapered spray shaped design. The twelve arms are spread over two tiers and display lovely curved shapes and are adorned with striking richly carved leaves and most decorative cut crystal pendants. Each arm displays lovely foliate bobeches and charming floral candle cups. The striking central fut is encased in a unique crystal reserve and also displays richly carved giltwood leaves leading up to the beautiful top crown with gilt metal sprays with additional elegant cut crystal pendants.
