About the Item

A striking Italian turn of the century Louis XV st. Wrought Iron, Gilt Metal, Giltwood and Crystal chandelier. The six arm chandelier is centered by a fine mottled Gilt Metal bottom cabochon from where the arms branch out. The beautifully scrolled arms are adorned with a stunning array of most decorative prism shaped cut crystal pendants, swaging garlands, and lovely rosettes leading to elegant mottled Giltwood candle cups. The cage displays wonderful curvaceous design adorned with additional prism shaped cut Crystal pendants centering a striking crystal dagger. The remarkable pierced top crown also displays superb scrolled movements, swaging garlands, Crystal pendants and delicate beaded bands. *Shades shown for display purposes, sold separately.
