About the Item

The six arms with a molded edged carved from a single block of Volterra alabaster stone, from the 1930's with brass and alabaster removable bobeches connecting to its original canopy by tubular brass fittings to hide the wires. The region of Volterra, near Florence in Italy is known for producing alabaster.
