LARGE ANTIQUE MOONSTONE PLAFONNIER PENDANT LIGHT An eye-catching Moonstone Plafonnier Pendant Light un signed but likely made by Jefferson & Co for G.E.C, the General Electric Company. Beautiful Moonstone glass with fluted bowl design complete with original aged cast brass ring Made in England c.1920. Jefferson & Co supplied the market with their 'Moonstone' glass which was largely unrivalled in the lighting market much like similar manufacturer Holophane. This bowl-shaped pendant light would look great hanging from an high ceiling such as a staircase as a feature light, with its warm glow when lit providing an amazing ambience for any modern interior. Adjustable drop height to suit various settings and comes with 2 meters of our premium black fabric twisted cable as standard. Technical Details Bulb Type 3 x B22 Maximum Wattage 3 x 100 W Height Bowl 250 mm Width 370 mm Drop Height 1000 mm (adjustable) Colour / Materials Aged Brass, Moonstone Glass, Gold, White Weight 6 kg Artist figure is 6’1” to give an idea of scale. When renovating our original reclaimed lighting all existing electrical parts are removed and renewed with modern electrical components. All components used are CE certified and our lights are wired & tested in line with BSEN Standards. As standard our lights come with 1m of our premium fabric three core cable to a colour of your choice unless stated otherwise in the product description. Generally, ES or BS lamp holders are used unless otherwise stated and are fully compatible with main dimmers and modern LED filament bulbs. Our lights can be wired to bespoke specifications, longer lengths, different cable types and compatibility with specialist dimming systems such as DALI can all be accommodated. Lights supplied to U.S.A and Canada are installed using UL Certified cable and lamp holders. As standard we supply round black fabric cable and E26 holders. Please note that although we use UL certified components our original reclaimed lights do not come with UL certification. Due to the antique nature of our original vintage lights, we cannot offer an official IP rating and cannot guarantee our lights for external use.
