Large French Art Deco original art glass, nickel chandelier by Hettier Vincent
About the Item
A magnificent, large and original French Art Deco 8 panel chandelier with an impressive diameter of 32 inches, is signed by the esteemed Hettier Vincent. It features eight elegantly designed original panels and a matching original central coupe of clear and frosted molded art glass shades that showcase intricate stylized flower and linear motifs. These exquisite glass elements are framed in a beautifully crafted, hand hammered iron decorative armature, embodying the quintessential Art Deco style ensuring both beauty and functionality in any space. The hand hammered ironwork features a dark mottled pewter / silvery patination with polished nickeled bronze accents that highlight the framework.
The highly decorative stem extends from an undulating ceiling canopy which grabs and supports the frame of the chandelier, while the arms curl and scroll gracefully outward emulating floral petals.
